The dark side of love and Will she be mine?

 Sitting on the balcony and thinking endlessly about the only lady after I felt on her was my daily schedule. Will she be mine one day? Will she understand my feelings? The questions aroused in my mind. I want to let her know about my affection. My affection to her is not just simply for pleasure but to value the real meaning of love. What if you think beyond what human think and know what another person think about. I am certain that you will amaze to know what I think for you. The very good intention for offering my affection and running after you despite you try to neglect. Oh! My triple gem and a root teacher, could you please let her know my true feelings. I love her truly.

After more than a month, I got a day where I was extremely happy for 1000 reasons. Thank you for your time and understanding. As I heard your sweat voice over the phone call it gave me an immense pleasure and happiness. Thank you.

Your fine pretty is just enough to steal my little heart. I admire your beauty and everything. As I love you unconditionally despite you don’t value it, I sometime think is that something to do with fate. Yeah, I do believe in fate. I am sorry if you don’t believe in fate.

There will be many good-looking guys or a wealthiest guys who will love you but remember I will be the one who will love you till my last breath despite of any tough circumstances.

I got many thing to write but due to limited vocabulary it is very difficult express what I actually think. I would happy if you could listen my feelings face to face one day.

Welcome brothers and sisters to College of Science and Technology, CST

I welcome each and every first year  students to the College of Science and Technology, CST. May you all have a fruitful stay in CST for four years.

I welcome you all with few words which I knew from my experiences (three years form CST and one year from Spain). I am neither your father nor your mother yet I want to leave few words. I hope few words will guide you to pass your first year without any troubles.

College and school is totally different as you know more than me. Like school where teachers guide students: ask students to study and guide if student go out of track but this things may not happen in college. Lecturers will lecture the lesson but may not tell you what your teachers said. This is owing to you consider as adult.  Never trust your intelligent like what you did in school. And especially in Engineering college it is difficult to trust your intelligent. I saw many students who trust his intelligent and finally went packing his luggage from college to home. So, hard work is more important than intelligent. Keep up to date with all lecture note for any test. Trusting your intelligent and keeping everything for last minutes will ruin you, you may fail to step up to the next semester and finally reach to packing the luggage to home.

Again, one relevant thing is freedom. College and home is totally different. At your home, your parent give advice when you do mischievous things. You may also go out of track because of peer pressure in college. There will be freedom in college which may not in school but if you misuse the freedom then freedom will misuse you. No one will come behind you like home and school. You are consider as adult in college. They assume, you know what is good and bad, what to do and what not to do and what to tell and what not to tell. It is better you use freedom in wiser way before college management terminate you.

And, choose good friends. There are all sort of friends, good and bad. It is better to stay safer side by choosing good friends. Many students are ruining their life because of bad friends

Back to Bhutan after one year course in Spain.

I apologize for the delay in posting this note. Although I reached the last week of June (28th June, 2015), my busy schedule prevented me from providing an update earlier.

I am pleased to inform you that everything went well, and I safely arrived in my country, Bhutan, without encountering any misfortunes or difficulties along the way. I am immensely grateful to my root teachers, the Triple Gem, and my family for their prayers and support. Once again, I extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone for your prayers.

Can Bhutan tackle the unemployment problem?

Thank you government for free education. Unlike other country we don’t need to pay for the education.

Every year, unemployment rate is increasing and people complain government need to change the education system in order to do away the mismatch of skill and job available.

On this point, I would like to express my opinions. It is easier said than done. We leave a critical comment “government need to change the education system in order to do away the mismatch of the skill gain and job available” but we forget to leave how and where need a changes.

I have answer for why there is no answer for how and where systems need to change.

First question come in my mind is do we have big companies like other countries? If yes, then definitely a big companies will absorb huge citizen whereby tackling unemployment problem to certain extend. The truth is Bhutan don’t have any big companies. The unemployment rate will go on increasing.

We blame government for educating wrong skill. I ask myself, which is right skill we need to study? Do we leave any suggestion to government?  If we say wrong skill, who send aboard for studying on self-finance on different course on their own? Do we blame government for that too?   

Now, coming to becoming Entrepreneur, do we have market? Do we take interest in that field? We hardly think about becoming Entrepreneur forget about trying. It is not easy to become Entrepreneur as it required many sacrifices and risk involve as many said.

Do we need to change in way of thinking? If all we want job in government by debating you study to become somebody in office then importing of salt to everything will go on eon to eon. That is really empty opinion frequently strike to my mind.

Sharchop live calling show.

           

To keep people connect to each other through message, radio program have live calling show. The calling show in which people call to radio host and tell their message to their relatives and love one. To offer the people entertainment, radio program has live calling show. Similarly, Bhutan Broadcasting Services (BBS) have program called live calling show.

I was never alone here, as I kept on listening BBS radio through live streaming in Spain. Thank you ana Tshering Dema, the BBS host who gave me the link for live streaming. I have been listening to BBS radio particularly Sharchop program (Tshnagla lo Program) for 9 months and still a month to go.

Among the programs I listened, I had one program which I can’t forget. Time and again, I remembered that moment as I tuned BBS radio particularly live calling show. It was the night of 30^th day, 11 month of Bhutanese calendar where they hosted a special program of live calling show dedicating to eastern people. The next day was 1^st day of 12 month of Bhutanese calendar where eastern people celebrated the day as Chungnipa losar (I will not write about the significant of the day).  The hosts of that program were all the sharchop section host (majority was there and I am not sure of all were present or not). I tuned the BBS radio of sharchop live calling show of that night, I sensed I was listening from Bhutanese soil. As the program goes on, the more fun and joke are being cracked by hosts. It was more fun when I remembered I laughed a lot all alone in my room. I couldn’t control the laugh. Thank you hosts for the enjoyment and pleasure. Among the host was ana Tshering Dema who I met through google hangout long time back. Ana Tshering Dema is not too bad in craking joke. Ana is experienced host and she let listeners never regret listing her program. I too like her program and I always tune till end of the program if she is the host. I doesn’t mean other hosts are not good but I like when Ana host the program.

Thank you ana for reading my dedication in one of the program of reading the dedication. My parent were happy as they heard my dedication as you read out. You made my living in Spain like I living in Bhutan. I feel like I was in Bhutan as I tuned your program. Kadrinche ana Tshering. Looking for more program in the future.

Crazy man

A man arrive to the home

He enter to his room

He keep his things in his room

He switch on the Television

Increase the volume to the fullest

Neither has he never looked what program on TV

Nor has he never listen what it was saying

Instead he is busy on his phone

A social media addicted man

Why he switch on the TV?

Why he increase the sound to the fullest?

Is he mad?

Never had he thought of disturbing to other by the TV sound

He suddenly stop texting message to his friend as someone pass by.

Minor sickness will become worse if you are far away from home.

                     

The minor sick sadden me in other land.  I never bother for having Cough and cold sickness. What bother me is having mild fever and headache on top of cough and cold since three days ago.

I am experiencing as if my head is beaten by heavy metal and will blast at any time. It is too hot as if my head is keep on the oven. I miss my mother who always cool my head by wet cloth whenever I suffer from headache. Day by day, I am knowing the value of mother more and more. Kadrinche ama.  

It is minor sickness. I kept sickness within myself. I didn’t share any of my parent and siblings. I know worrisome they will have if I share. I never want them to worry because of me. I have already given them worse worry back in 2005 because of my severe sickness.

I have persistent believe in my Root Teacher (Tsa wai lam) and Triple Gem (kenchosum). It is not I taking refuge only when I become sick. I always recite prayer before bedtime and early morning. I have already taken refuge to Root Teacher (Tsa wai lam) and Triple Gem and I will be taking here after.

I offer my prayer to my Root Teacher (tsa wai lam) and Triple Gem (ken cho sum) daily are always answered. I am safe till now because of their prayer. I thank you my parents, Root teacher and Triple Gem.  

Meat Processing Unit.

                             

It was indeed very sad to read the news in kuensel dated 18^th April, 2015 ("To 'meat' a huge demands") to come up with the solution of high demand of meat with setting up the processing unit in Bhutan. Setting up of processing unit means coming up of slaughter house. I won’t comment anything mention in the news for the reason for coming up and way they will be involved in slaughtering.

“We’ll make sure animals are slaughtered in a professional way, like stunning down, making the animal unconscious,” said Dr Tashi Samdup. “We have to consider how much we’re spending on the import of meat. We are targeting to get 100 percent food self-sufficiency.”

I don’t think killing animals with professional means is different than killing taking place in other country. In bottom line, both are killing and taking the precious life.

I am against the idea of setting up Processing Unit with following opinions:

First and foremost reason come in my mind, our country is the Buddhist Country. The country in which world knows because of her religious and traditions. Gross National Happiness, GNH is the philosophy based on Buddhist principles. Happiness is the core concept in GHN. If slaughtering house is setting up in Bhutan, it is impossible to say Happiness is existing. Taking the precious life of animals cannot be justified as Happiness exist.

Second, setting up our own meat Processing unit meant easily available meat in the market. Thinking critically, supply of meat is the area that we need to look into and take action. If there is no supply, people might quit. They might eat once in a month by buying from available market. If meat is abundant in the market, naturally there will be high demands. Setting up our own Meat Processing Unit mean more and new meat consumers are going to come. If government think, importing meat cause economy deficiency, why don't they come up with Meat Importing Regulation.

Third, our people should learn the disadvantages of eating meat. People need to change their notion like not eating meat will affect the healthiness of body. Meat has nothing to do with healthiness of our body. You will know more if you watch this clips. This is the video from Jangchubshing progrom of BBS2. It is very difficult to quit meat. I know how much you enjoy the taste of meat. I was once eating meat. I am now vegetarian. 

I have very simple reason for becoming vegetarian. I feel the pain and fear when somebody beat me. I sense, animals too will have same pain and fear as I do. Therefore, I don't want anyone be it animals or human being to hurt. I do believe what great Bodhisattva used to say. They say, no animals has not become our parents once in this revolving Samsara. I can’t imagine the pain and fear of my parents would have gone through just before come in front of me as meat curry.

I respect your taste bud. I respect your life. And my humble request, please let’s give happiness to our parents (animals) by minimizing the rate of eating meat and quitting one day.

The ten months exchange program is an opportunity. The project under Interweave program which offers students an exchange program from Asia to Europe and vice versa. I am the one who benefit the program from Asia to Europe. My program will end in the end of June, 2015. Nearly 3 months to go to wind up my program.

I must say INTERWEAVE program is my life time opportunity. Exploring the globe and interacting with different people is something which I would not have an opportunity if Interweave program was not there.

Travelling to Europe itself is an adventure and experience for me. A country boy travelling Europe, a far destination will meant huge to him. I got to travel Spain under Interweave program. Exploring and experiencing the different lifestyle from my home (Bhutan) in Spain is my memories which is hard to forget in future. I learnt a lot. I will take along with me to my country, Bhutan.

Everything I experienced the new environment would impossible without an Interweave program. For making my life different, I say Thank you Interweave Program for the golden opportunity. My thankfulness to Interweave program and team members of Interweave (Erasmus Mundus) would be always within my heart and soul. Thank you INTERWEAVE.

In the month of February, from the news report (BBS and Kuensel) I read, Bhutan will participate in world cup preliminary qualifying match. I was excite to watch the match. Few days after that news, drawn fixture with Bhutan versus Sri Lanka was published. I was more excite after the fixture. Counting the days, finally the match day come. It was on 12^th March, 2015, Bhutan played in Colombo against Sri Lanka. I had class till 9:45am (Spain, +5 GMT) and match was due to play at 10:30 am (3:00 pm local time of Sri Lanka). I settled down to watched. The game started and I felt chill within my mind. I pray for the success to Team Bhutan. A half time bought with Nil for both Team. I was happy, Team Bhutan dominate Sri Lanka in the first half.

And second half started with more possession of ball for Sri Lanka. Any way, scoring is more important than having more possession of ball. Team Bhutan defense quit brilliantly. At, last 10 minutes (84 minutes), jersey number 16, Midfielder so called Tshering Dorji, 20 year boy found the space and kick ball inside the net. A goal for Bhutan. Beside Tshering Dorji, credit goes to jersey number 7, Checho Gyeltshen for his brilliant assist and play. And of course all the boys (player).

Now, second Leg will be play in Bhutan, national stradium Changlimithang. I wish Team Bhutan to continue with the same spirit. I wish good luck to Team Bhutan. History was already made in Colombo, Sri Lanka by wining first ever world qualifying match. Wining in home would bring more smile to Bhutanese and add one more chapter to already made history. 

Villagers with mobile is more fun.

You will understand what I refer to funny if you read it. I say villagers with mobile is fun not because they can’t operate mobile as they are illiterate. Funnier will find in the following lines.

My village was recently connect with mobile service. All villagers own simple mobile (black and white) and few with mobile having advance facilities. They own mobile thinking they can communicate with their relatives in other places of the country. To my surprises, few villagers were victimized by student by calling to their number.

Students take advantages of villagers as they don’t know who is calling and how to save the received number that threaten them to track. In one instance, villager was called by student. Student made as a BBS host. He asked villager to sing a song as that program is live calling and singing show. The villager sang seriously but on the other side of one making fun was having uncontrollable laugh.   

Again another funny incident to caller (student) but serious incident to call receiver (villager). I say it was a tragic fun. Student called villager by making as their daughter (pitch of voice changed similar to their daughter). In the conversation, the student told she was pregnant. Parent were worried. They couldn’t recognized that voice. They considered it was true. Only after few week, they know it was somebody making artificial voice of their daughter.  

I will stop with above two incidents of my villagers making fun by children of my village. There are many stories regarding phone call. What you think of that tragic fun? Is same incident happened in your village? I think children are wrong to do that. After all they are all our parents. 

The ultimate goal of one’s life.

Are you happy?

We dream of having a happy life. A happiest within one’s mind and around the environment. The trend of human being dreaming of having luxurious things can’t avoid. You have the right to dream that dreams. Dreaming to have luxurious life may result to disastrous life if one can’t change the dream in to reality.

Whether you achieve dream of luxurious life or you couldn’t achieve but if you think you are happy within your mind that is what deem to be the way of life. The environment happiest will achieve with your actions. Finest action you adopt in the society, good reaction from friends. More you act differently, more you will upset with the action of friends. The core meaning of environment happiest is holding one’s negative emotions.

   

We have no right to interfere other life. You may feel he is not doing what you are doing. Remember, every individual has their own way of doing in search of their happiest. If he don’t follow what you are doing, it mean he don’t like what you are doing. You may not like to do what he is doing. So, it’s our six sense to understand other’s interest and way of their life.

Reflecting on my own life. I am poor fellow possess nothing. I also want to tell you, I am happy always. I am satisfy with my human life. My only dream and hope ahead of my life is to avoid any non-virtuous deed for the well-being of sentient beings and to liberate form the ocean of anguish. Above all, my one and only desire in my life ahead is to render my love and care to my thanking parents.

2005 may not return but still clinging over my mind.

From nowhere, I was taking back to the circumstance of 2005 frequently. Counting the years, it is running 10 years. The strongest emotion of 2005 which gave me to experienced is my nightmare. The circumstances of 2005 and the misfortune in my life of 2005 is my light to the way of doing my actions.

2005 circumstance may not return but still clinging over my heart and soul. The year was difficult year for my life. It was the year that I couldn’t predict to live next year. There was no hope to live my life but to depart my body from my soul. I lose my appetite. I can’t walk anymore, walking 5 steps was as if like I climbing the mountain. My weight is decreasing every day and my face becoming dark. Every one visiting me insist, “Aii (expressing sympathy in my dialect), what has happen to you, you are young and admitting to hospital, you will be cured”. They console my already shuttered heart but I understand in other way, they are also with no hope to live my life like me.

The course of my hope get altered as soon I was diagnose with appropriate sickness. It was Mycobacterium tuberculosis which caused the disorder of my body and diagnosed as Tuberculosis (TB) in Jigme Dorji Wangchuk National referral hospital (JDWNRH), Thimphu, Bhutan. When I heard you are diagnosed as TB, I couldn’t hold the tear from my eyes. The tear was rolling over my face. That was the tear of sadness. Thank god, TB is curable diseases.

The treatment of DOTS (Directly Observed Treatment, short-course) started for me. My life with DOTS; I stayed 2 months in Gedakom Hospital, Thimphu and was discharge. DOTS started with injection which last two months in Gedakom. I was bringing back to the ray of hope of my life. A day by day, I was getting better and better, stronger and stronger and happier and happier.

I continued my DOTS for next 6 months in home and school.

I realized that the god almighty blessed me. I also realized correct treatment is going to cured one’s sickness. I say correct treatment because I was admitted in Samdrup Jongkhar Regional Hospital for more than 2 months. My sickness symptom clearly indicate TB symptoms. They failed to diagnose the TB but they gave treatment saying I got lungs problem. With that treatment instead of curing, the case is becoming even worse than before. My father and I asked doctor to let me go Deowathang Hospital and even JDWNRH for further treatment. They said that you will be cured soon and I was discharged home without any cure. I believed them and went home. The sickness become worsen and worsen. I went JDWNRH for further treatment. Within three days they diagnosed my sickness. So, I request all of you to go further treatment if you are not cure in admitted hospital when doctors in that hospital say you don’t need to go. Some doctor never ask us to go for further treatment. There may be case, where patient die because of wrong treatment. I was lucky, I wasn’t dead with wrong treatment.

First and foremost thing come in my mind is my only apa (father), ama (mother), ana and ausa (sisters) and kota (brother). It was my apa and ama who reach me to hospital and take care in the hospital. I am sure it’s impossible to repay to one’s parent but I vow, I will render my love and care to parents. I thank to all my siblings for sharing the sorrow and helping me. My apa suffer more than what I suffer. Carry on his back from Arunachal Pradesh India to my village. Thank you very much my dear apa. Ama, you were one who listen my words during my sickness. I pray long life to all my parents.

Thank you ata Sherab and ata Loday for carry me on your back till road point. I really need to repay for your support. I will never forget in my life. And ata Sangay Jamtsho for your support. I thank all the relatives who support me. I thank my late grandmother for her support. Om Ma Ni Pad Mi Hug. May you rebirth in palace of Dewachen. My prayer is always with you, grandma.

In Thimphu, I stay with my step mother (Azim) and late Aku. Thank you Azim and late Aku for your generous help. I will never forget your support.

My thankfulness will go on if I write. I don’t remember all names to mention. The thought within my heart about thanking all the people who support me during my sickness will never vanish.

Hold your emotion

If god know people's sadness, and if god can help when he cry for his help, he would definitely cry when he is sad.   

Is eating Meat same as eating vegetables?

 My friends (European) are insisting me, eating meat is same as eating vegetables. They are justifying their statement by meat they eat is from living animals and vegetables is also from living vegetable. In bottom line both meat and vegetables are from living. I am little bit confused with their question but still I can’t eat meat. I am going to be vegetarian. A month has been passed I turn to vegetarian. Becoming vegetarian was my dream. I had converted to vegetarian in the year 2011 to 2012 but unfortunately I broke my promise. Now I promise to be vegetarian throughout my life. This is simple sympathy I shall offer to my past parents.

Now, I am in need of justification that support eating meat is not same as eating vegetables. I would happy if you could give me the good justification so that I can explain them.

My homage on 35th birth anniversary of His Majesty.

On joyous occasion of 35^th birth Anniversary of fifth Druk Gyalpo, I pay my homage along with humble prayer: may you live long to the eternity and may Bhutan be protected under your kind and farsighted leadership. As a homage subject of your country, I  am keeping desktop background as their majesty photo.

Decision after decision is the current scenario with the government.

The one firm decision is more than important than decision after decision. The government decision is never a final decision. Their decision is always altering as if like unpredictable weather. The time has reached where people can’t rely on government decision. At any time, decision may get alter may be the notion of the people now.

To cite few instances, first the decision of Leaked question paper of class XII English paper II. BCSEA decided the decision. Education Ministry bureaucrat from government side is also the committee of the BCSEA. Their decision has come to finalized that “The obtain mark from English I shall allocated to English II”. No sooner did the notice was disturbed in social media, the people raise their concern. The concern raised was opposing the decision. People want decision to be “REDO the EXAM”. After few days, government asked BCSEA committee to review the decision. One thing I like government at least this time as they hear what people say but remember they were deaf ear during the concern raised about pay hike.

Second comes the recruitment of B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) graduate decision. I understand getting job after graduate is not for sure but what I am sure is getting employ for B.Ed graduates as country suffer shortage of teachers. We have been saying shortage of teachers. But to our surprise, government say excess of teachers. What could be reason behind for saying excess of teachers in the country? Is that because of system change? Is that because of center school system yet to be established? Question keep on asking to my mind.

RCSC announced the slot for B.Ed graduates with total of 182. 417 graduates appeared for RCSE which means half the graduates will be unemployed in government service. In one of the talk between B.Ed graduates and Prime Minister, PM said that we need only science teachers. But if we look in the vacancy announcement, there are 5 slot for 54 graduate under disciple B.Ed (secondary) Math + Physics and 2 slots for 21 graduates under disciple B.Ed (secondary) Biology + Chemistry. So, I couldn’t correlated with vacancy announcement of science student and what government said.

Now, government asked RCSC to relook the allocation for B.Ed graduates. Again a dozen of question arise in my mind. Why decision after decision? 

A Happy New Year,2015

To all the reader, I wish you "Happy New Year, 2015". May the year 2015 be successful, prosperous, wish fulfilling and joy-able year. 
To our astonishing notice, a year 2014 has come to end. If we reflect back to the bygone days of 2014, we see the success and failure we came across but lets forget everything and be prepared for 2015. Let us pursuit the goal of 2015 with dedication and determination but with never neglecting the believe and trust to god almighty, the triple gem (ken cho sum) and the root teacher (tsa wai lam).

Update from kuenselonline (the daily Bhutan national newspaper) and BBS (Bhutan Broadcasting Service).

Browsing kuenselonline as soon I wake up is my daily schedule. Bhutan is ahead of +6 hours ahead of GMT and Spain is +1 hours ahead of GMT. The time difference between Bhutan and Spain is 5 hours. Bhutan is ahead of 5 hours from Spain. As soon as I wake up around 9am in the morning, Bhutan is 1pm in the afternoon. The update in kuenselonline is already done for the day. I get update as soon I wake up about the Bhutan.

Usually kuenselonline update the news which happen one day before. But I know the news of particular days from BBS. The BBS update their collected news of the day after 6pm BST (Bhutan Standard Time).
