Is eating Meat same as eating vegetables?

 My friends (European) are insisting me, eating meat is same as eating vegetables. They are justifying their statement by meat they eat is from living animals and vegetables is also from living vegetable. In bottom line both meat and vegetables are from living. I am little bit confused with their question but still I can’t eat meat. I am going to be vegetarian. A month has been passed I turn to vegetarian. Becoming vegetarian was my dream. I had converted to vegetarian in the year 2011 to 2012 but unfortunately I broke my promise. Now I promise to be vegetarian throughout my life. This is simple sympathy I shall offer to my past parents.

Now, I am in need of justification that support eating meat is not same as eating vegetables. I would happy if you could give me the good justification so that I can explain them.

Snow Man

A new semester in Mondragon University started with snowing (4/2/2015). I haven’t stayed in the place where snow fall. It was my first time to experience a place with snow fall. I had a great time playing with snow and building snow man. Patrik, my friend from Slovakia was the designer of the snow man. I help him to made ball to build the snow man.

It’s still snowing. Three days has been passed yet falling of snow hasn’t stop. Most probably, it will stop from Sunday (8/2/2015) as weather forecast suggest. I don’t like walking on the snow to college. I don’t like to cover my head with umbrella to avoid snow. Hope the weather forecast suggested to be right so that I can go to college.

Totally difference is the way of learning.

As I keep on staying and learning the way of their learning in Mondragon University, Spain the totally difference is the way of learning that I noticed.

If I compare with my home university (College of Science and Technology) and host university (Mondragon, Spain), I noticed a huge difference.

We have a long syllabus for each module in home university. Two term test (exam) is being conducted before the end semester exam. And in between many assignments and presentations for one module. A huge burden to be shouldered by students for all those activities.

In Host University, I am not burden with those activities which my home university has. Here a short syllabus for a module. A maximum of two exam for a module which bring end of exam. Practical is more important they give beside theory.

My opinion based on my experience; their way of learning is best and good for our way of learning. They will learn more as they do practical a side by side. A long syllabus create the confusion to average student instead of gaining something. A short syllabus with content of important element of subject gives better learning.

Decision after decision is the current scenario with the government.

The one firm decision is more than important than decision after decision. The government decision is never a final decision. Their decision is always altering as if like unpredictable weather. The time has reached where people can’t rely on government decision. At any time, decision may get alter may be the notion of the people now.

To cite few instances, first the decision of Leaked question paper of class XII English paper II. BCSEA decided the decision. Education Ministry bureaucrat from government side is also the committee of the BCSEA. Their decision has come to finalized that “The obtain mark from English I shall allocated to English II”. No sooner did the notice was disturbed in social media, the people raise their concern. The concern raised was opposing the decision. People want decision to be “REDO the EXAM”. After few days, government asked BCSEA committee to review the decision. One thing I like government at least this time as they hear what people say but remember they were deaf ear during the concern raised about pay hike.

Second comes the recruitment of B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) graduate decision. I understand getting job after graduate is not for sure but what I am sure is getting employ for B.Ed graduates as country suffer shortage of teachers. We have been saying shortage of teachers. But to our surprise, government say excess of teachers. What could be reason behind for saying excess of teachers in the country? Is that because of system change? Is that because of center school system yet to be established? Question keep on asking to my mind.

RCSC announced the slot for B.Ed graduates with total of 182. 417 graduates appeared for RCSE which means half the graduates will be unemployed in government service. In one of the talk between B.Ed graduates and Prime Minister, PM said that we need only science teachers. But if we look in the vacancy announcement, there are 5 slot for 54 graduate under disciple B.Ed (secondary) Math + Physics and 2 slots for 21 graduates under disciple B.Ed (secondary) Biology + Chemistry. So, I couldn’t correlated with vacancy announcement of science student and what government said.

Now, government asked RCSC to relook the allocation for B.Ed graduates. Again a dozen of question arise in my mind. Why decision after decision? 

A semester in Mondragon University, Spain coming to wind up.

Several days left to wind up first semester in Mondragon University, Spain. Semester coming to end and everything is coming to the end, the syllabus of modules and projects. Everything coming to end connect to pending of doing many task. A completion of projects, the final presentation and appearing for exam for every module.

The coordinator of Erasmus Mundus had already circulated the mail about the modules for next semester. I couldn’t decide which modules to take in second semester in Mondragon. Most probably I will take module with no programing language. The modules related to business managements.

Trip to Bremen, Germany.

I made a visit to Germany on 30 December, 2014. The reason behind for visiting was to visit places and my Bhutanese friends in Germany.
My friends: Rinzin Wangdi, Ugyen Nima and Nima Zangmo well come us with open arm. For your hospitality, I thank you from my heart. Thank you friends. To my surprise, their friends, joined them to well come us. They invited us for gathering. There was enough eatable things. We thank all of you for your everything. Indeed the day 31, December, 2014 was great with your program. Thank you Thai (two girl: supattra , Natcha June Kurupakorn and Best), Bangladeshi (Mr.Ali) and Indian (Himang and Aricena) friends. a new year celebration with you all shall remain deep in my heart as a gratitude. And of course the new year celebration witness during mid-night in Germany will in my heart.

To our astonishing notice, a year 2014 has come to end. If we reflect back to the bygone days of 2014, we see the success and failure we came across but lets forget everything and be prepared for 2015. Update from kuenselonline (the daily Bhutan national newspaper) and BBS (Bhutan Broadcasting Service).

Browsing kuenselonline as soon I wake up is my daily schedule. Bhutan is ahead of +6 hours ahead of GMT and Spain is +1 hours ahead of GMT. The time difference between Bhutan and Spain is 5 hours. Bhutan is ahead of 5 hours from Spain. As soon as I wake up around 9am in the morning, Bhutan is 1pm in the afternoon. The update in kuenselonline is already done for the day. I get update as soon I wake up about the Bhutan.

Usually kuenselonline update the news which happen one day before. But I know the news of particular days from BBS. The BBS update their collected news of the day after 6pm BST (Bhutan Standard Time).

2014 is leaving.

Time keep on changing. Days making to week, weeks to months and ultimately months to year. Twelve months makes a year. 52 weeks makes a year. 365 days makes a year. December month is the 12^th month of the year. Today is 20^th December, 2014. A year 2014 has come to end. Among the month, it reach to the last month of the year. Among the weeks, a year 2014 reach to 51^st week which is the second last week of the year. And 11 days to wind up 2014.

Life is short like a transient period of lightning. A New Year mean one more year has come closer to death. We are uncertain of where and when our death may occur. Therefore let us lead our life meaningfully and mindfully in all year we live in.

After 11 days, a New Year 2015 will arrive. We can’t predict what may happen in year 2015. But I have only one thing in my heart, my only root teacher. I have faith and believe to my root teacher. The credit for my success goes to my root teacher and of course many more people.

As 2015 is arriving soon, I wish each one of you, “A happy new year, 2015. Have fun but never forget to pray on the other hand”.

         

Chasing your dream lead to sleepless night.

 I think many of you have experience a sleepless night. We try to sleep but can’t sleep. We never really realize why we experience a sleepless night. I will share my own experience why I experience sleepless night.

The moment you start do pillow mantra (dreaming of future as you sleep), it get connected to another dream. And get connected to another dream. It goes on till our night of sleepless night is being created. Then we try our best to sleep but we can’t sleep peacefully with heavy mind. A mind with hopes and dreams of future.

After an hours long of dreaming, mind get totally exhausted. By then it is early in the morning. It is time to wake up. We prefer to sleep over waking up. We miss our daily schedule due to morning deep sleep till afternoon.

I would never chase dream anymore at night. I will avoid doing pillow mantra.

Mexicans dinner.

 The night of Mexicans dinner I attended will remind you all, when I reach Bhutan as I glance to my dairy of Spain. The night I enjoyed the foods of Mexico and the night I interacted with friends of Erasmus Mundus students of Mondragon University is the remembrance of my stay in Mondragon, Basque country, Spain. It is the memorandum to my memory.

I on behalf of Erasmus friends would like to say “big thank you” to the Mexicans students of Erasmus in Mondragon University for inviting to Mexicans dinner. My special credit goes to particularly the organizers of the event. Thank you everyone. (Gracias)

Sadness and takeoff to normal.

Sadness is the one among the emotions of our life. Reason behind the sadness in the world are unfathomable. There are many reason to be sad. Sadness in deed is the challenging feeling to handle with. It is cause by upsetting events of the life. The melancholy caused by deep sadness might begin to interfere with your day to day activities, ultimately leaving you feeling unenthusiastic and even worthless. You are in Aggression zone, the zone which consist of strong negative external emotion as well with the strong negative internal emotions to hinder your goal.

It is in your hand and mind to decide to bring to the track of Passion Zone. The Passion zone is the zone which consist of strong positive emotions such as joy and pride. There is no doubt, you can win to turn back to passion zone and finally to Comfort zone. The only you need is to understand, failure is the part of journey. Your courage and enthusiasm count a lot during the failure.
