Torre de Belém and other historic place in Lisbon

Built on the northern bank of the Tagus between 1514 and 1520 as part of the Tagus estuary defence system, the Tower of Belém is one of the architectural jewels of the reign of Manuel I.
In the tower as a whole one can distinguish two distinct volumes and military architectural models: the mediaeval keep tower and the modern bulwark which, as it contained two artillery levels, allowed for long-distance cannon firing as well as ricochet shots over the water.
The Tower of Belém is a cultural reference, a symbol of the specificity of Portugal at the time, including its privileged exchange with other cultures and civilisations. As a protector of Portuguese individuality and universality, the tower saw its role confirmed in 1983 when it was classified by UNESCO as “Cultural Heritage of Humanity”.

When you look back after decade you will see the photos of the places and you. The photos will take you back to the time where you have plenty of enjoyment. Memory will never die. Memory sometime fade away if we don’t keep much evidence by taking photos. So, to keep memory alive I have photos below.

Women and men.

Women has equal right like any other boys or men. We make mistake by thinking they are onlywomen and not men. I am from Bhutan and I saw many educated men misunderstood women as simply women. Forget about other men who has no education when educated men treat a girl or women in negative manner. I said simply women and treat in negative manner. The real meaning for predecessor sentence is that the mind of men are still in male dominant society and treat women as not human. Even an educated women are still has a mindset they are inferior to the men. Indeed they are wrong.

I have seen many men who try to humiliate women. Who they think they are superior to women. Many will think women are dependent to men but which actually is not. Women has equal opportunities like men and can become independent like men. If you are reading this, never have a thought of you are women and have to depend on men.

I have seen a women who try to dominate men. Who try to keep under her comment. Who always let men to dance to the tune of her song. She is actually wrong to do that.

There are men who has no work but only to disturb the peaceful mind of women. Women mind are so soft which can be soften by soft words from imprudent men. Those men think they come to world as a king to the women. And there are women who think men as a king. There need to change a mindset for both men and women.

I have seen many women who are stronger than a men. Stroger than men in thinking. And they are not the women like third paragraph of the article. They have independent mind. They will never get spoiled in the hand of imprudent men.

Dear men and women.

Act like a human. Act like a living being. And respect to all human being. Don’t forget to respect all living being, our parents or friends (animals).

Sharing an experiences and sharing is loving

I am from Zangthi, and living in our village has taught me a lot of things. I am grateful to your parents for instilling unwavering values.

I am well aware of the scenario, lifestyle, living standards, humbleness, and the overall condition of our village and its people. Our village is not yet developed, but we enjoy peaceful times throughout the years.

As a student, I have faced numerous challenges, but I always found a way to overcome them. I don't mean to praise myself, but the truth is that I understood my family's condition and worked hard to improve it. I put in more effort than any other student. Although I may not be a successful person at this moment, I have experiences to share with the young friends of Zangthi.

I appreciate the determination and hard work of the young friends in Zangthi. I also appreciate their understanding of our village's condition. One thing I particularly appreciate is their dedication to studying. Your parents will be proud of your efforts. So, my dear young friends, never lose track of the path you are following in the future.

We are living in the 21st century, the era of technology and the digital world. We cannot live without simple electronic devices, ranging from mobile phones to televisions. It's amazing to see young friends with smartphones and brand laptops. These smart gadgets provide an opportunity to learn many new things. However, if we misuse them, every opportunity will be accompanied by negative consequences. I want to address the young friend who is studying. Class 10 and 12 are considered turning points in students' lives. If you perform well in these stages, you have laid the foundation for 50% of your life. While mobile phones may not be the sole factor hindering your performance, they can be a small obstacle. They might disturb your mindset for studying. It's always good to approach your studies with an open mind. This is the time to focus on your studies. You have plenty of time for love and enjoyment later. Avoid wasting precious time on unproductive activities that hinder your studies and disappoint your parents.

It's time to bring joy to your parents by studying hard. Remember, nothing is impossible. Just keep studying, and success will be yours. Good luck, my dear young friends of Zangthi.

Two brothers and a bear

It was during 16th century, there live two brothers namely Hodey and Nodey in western part of Bhutan. They were orphan. Hodey is elder brother and he was intelligent. And Nodey  the younger brother is bit cracked.

One day they went to the mountain to collect the bamboos for roofing their old house. They reached at destination. They started collecting bamboos and made a load for them.

As soon as they finished making load they started climbing down the mountain. They reached one of the rest place. They took a rest. As they were talking and from no where a bear came to attracted them. Fortunately, Nodey saw a bear was coming and he ran away without any noticed to his brother Hodey. Nodey climbed on the tree and looked what is happening between his brother and bear. Hodey being intelligent, he did a game plan to escaped from a bear. He slept on the ground and pretended to be dead. The bear sniffed whole part of Hodey body and checking whether he is really dead. The bear checked the breathing air of Hodey to make sure he was dead. Finally, a bear went back.

Nodey climbed down the tree and asked his brother. He said "what bear was saying to you. I saw you two were talking so many things." And Hodey answered "We need close brother and friend like you."

Fake reincarnation

Reincarnation is belief in Buddhism. It is believe that people who did a good deed will reward a life again so called reincarnation. Many lama come back to the world for the sentient being as a reincarnation.

Once upon a time there live a man. He was rich in that society. He has done many good things when he was alive.  He passed away at 60s.

After few years there was a boy who claimed to be his reincarnation. The boy was 2 and half year. The mother of boy taught everything to boy. Like what man did in his previous life. What man possessed. Mother taught her son because boy is going to faced a oral interview by man's family to confirm as their late father.

The day was fixed where man's family will have a interview with little boy. As relative of late man asked a boy many question and a boy answered correctly. As questions goes on, the time has reached where little boy has nothing in his mind. Nothing remained in his mind. Everything was told which his mother had taught.

Son of late man asked. My dear father which is your cup that you used when you were my father in previous life? To their surprise he answered "my mother teach me only this much".

Terrible culture so called Night hunting in Eastern is on verge of vanishing and already replaced in Thimphu by phone call

Eastern culture is not only drinking ARA but also the popular night roaming called Night hunting.

The terrible culture called night hunting is vanishing in Eastern part and already replaced in Thimphu by phone call. The children in Thimphu are very expert in doing those stuff. They don't need system called night hunting. They just lie to parent and go out to friend house but actually they are going to hotel with girl or boy. The social media or mobile phone is main cause of vanishing night hunting. More than a night hunting, the social media and phone call has effected the children. The teenage pregnancy, gang fight, groupism and many things are arise due to misuse of those social media.

The way to Buddha point where the place people pray are become the favorite place for them during night. And Sangaygang become the second favorite place for those people at night.

Repay to parent

It is said you can't repay the good things our parent has done for us even if we carry them on our back and make 1000 times round the earth.

Repay for the good things your parents has done for you. The gratitude should be with us and repay them. Repay with respect.

The only gratitude that is possible to pay is by practising Buddha Teaching. It is not neccesaryly you have to go to monkhood and wear a rob. It is our mind. Religion for me is good thought.

Everything is different and difficult

I started learning the meaning of life. And everything is different and difficult. Even a subject we learned seems to be difficult.

I quote "Life is not a bed of rose but bed of throne" I unquote. Somebody has rightly said that. I find the meaning in what they have leave the saying. Life become more difficult with messy people around. People who don't know meaning of life. On the other hand life is a smooth journey if we move along the people who has greater vision of road ahead.  I wish and dream to go along the these people. I have already found those people. They are my parent.

Growing and decaying & birth and death.

A beautiful flower has good fragrance and everyone love the smile. Even a bees come to have a nectar. Sadly flower will decay soon. Beauty is victim of vanishing.

You are born on the earth. Your parent were rejoiced while you were born. Will you let the world to rejoice when you leave the world?

You might have many memories of childhood days. You might be handsome and pretty among others. You may be intelligent among the friends. You may be richer. You may be stronger and dominating the friends with your strength. You may be having handsome husband and pretty wife. You may have cute son or daughter. You may have loving friends. You have even possesses all the desire things. But only question is can we stay till earth disappear. Every day is new beginning and becoming older. Did you realize you are not becoming older but coming closer to death?

We are coming closer to death day by day. What we are doing then? Are we piling the stone for building the house? Thinking about all those stuff, nothing seems to be meaningful in life rather than humanity. I shall mindful for my action. My action shouldn’t harm other. My speech shouldn’t hurt other. My thought shouldn’t be bad about other.  

Stages of life and sorrow of stage four to parents.

Stage one:

Thank you, mother, for giving birth to us. You have suffered a lot for our sake. Thank you, father and mother, for caring for us dearly. During our early years, we were innocent and unaware of what is good and bad. We engaged in nonsense and mischievous activities. Our childhood days were spent with our father, mother, and siblings. We fought with each other, played together, and ate together. I have fond memories of my childhood days with my siblings. We would go to school together and come back home for lunch. We are aware of the hard work our father and mother put in for us. Thank you, sister, for helping our father and mother. We will never forget you as our second parent. Thank you, Ana.

Stage two:

This is the stage when we are in secondary school. Our parents worked tirelessly and saved for us. They provided us with new clothes. They never thought of buying new clothes for themselves, wearing torn ones instead, just so we wouldn't feel shy in front of our friends. Thank you, Apa, Ama, and sister. Your good deeds towards us are always in our minds. We love you, Apa, Ama, and Ana.

Stage three:

This is the stage when we are in college. It is the stage where we are about to start earning after completing our education. Our parents have high expectations because they have endured many years for us. Finally, we completed college, and the story of stage four is different.

Stage four:

We are now independent. Our parents need our help. Are we helping them? It is disheartening to realize that our elderly parents are still suffering while their children are independent. We are sorry; we are still unable to assist you. It is indeed a great shame for siblings like us.

To my friends, please help your parents. They are like gods to us. They mean everything to us.

Lastly, but not the least, my only prayer is for my Apa and Ama to have good health and always be happy. I will lend my helping hand soon. May all the parents on Earth be happy and receive support from their sons and daughters.

Count down to stay on earth.

I was feeling sick, so I decided to visit the doctor. She advised me to take medicine for a week. I followed her instructions and took the medicine as prescribed. However, after a week had passed, my condition remained the same. In fact, I was getting worse instead of improving.

Feeling concerned, I went back to see the same doctor. This time, she recommended that I undergo an X-ray and blood test. She asked me to return two days later to collect the results. When I went back after two days, she informed me that the results were not yet ready. She mentioned that it would take three more days to complete the examination of my blood samples. I became confused and wondered why it was taking so long to obtain the results.

Even after three days, I still hadn't received the test results. This left me feeling even more confused. The doctor seemed unable to provide any information about my illness. I started to believe that my condition might be incurable.

On the 14th of October, 1990, a week after my blood sample was taken, I received a call from the doctor, asking me to meet her at her chamber at 2 pm. I went with a heavy heart and took a seat as she offered. I could sense her nervousness as she prepared to deliver the news. Deep down, I knew there was something she couldn't bring herself to say. I gathered my strength and asked her to tell me the truth. She finally confessed that I had been diagnosed with blood cancer.

My world felt as though it was crumbling around me. I knew that my days were now numbered, that I could die today or tomorrow. However, I held onto the belief that Buddha would come to my rescue in the form of Healing Buddha. As I continued taking the medicine, I fervently prayed to Medicine Buddha and Healing Buddha for a miracle. Throughout this challenging time, my parents remained supportive, and I always sought solace in my prayers to Buddha.

Today, on the 14th of October, 2016, the 26th anniversary of my blood cancer diagnosis, I am still alive thanks to the blessings of Buddha and my root teacher. I remain committed to Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, and I am determined to never give up on life easily. Sometimes miracles happen. I urge you all to cherish and enjoy your lives.

I had a problem of Windows (8.1) saying your windows license will expire soon again and again. It is disturbing one. I don’t remembered where I pressed.

Anyway to solve that problem you need to do following things.

Open the Task Manager. To open the Task Manager Hold down the ctrl and alt keys and press delete.

Select Task Manager.

Select the Windows Explorer, then right click on it and select Restart.

 When the process has restarted, close Task Manager, then right click the Start Menu icon, select Command Prompt (Admin). In order to open Command Prompt in administrator.

1. Click Start, click All Programs, and then click Accessories.
2. Right-click Command prompt, and then click Run as administrator.
3. If the User Account Control dialog box appears, confirm that the action it displays is what you want, and then click Continue.

Enter the following command and hit enter ( Note that there is a space between slmgr and -rearm )

slmgr -rearm

Restart the computer.

I attempted to write a Dzongkha ballad, but things have not been easy. I couldn't come up with a good paragraph. I realized that the lack of Dzongkha lessons for a long time and the lack of consistent exposure to Dzongkha have contributed to the deterioration of my writing skills in Dzongkha. I need to improve my Dzongkha writing, so I plan to write Dzongkha articles and read Dzongkha for my own benefit. I enjoy writing in Dzongkha.

Do you have any suggestions for improvement? I have been unable to find any Dzongkha books online, which is a problem for me. If there were available materials, I could practice and even encourage many friends to practice Dzongkha as well.

What are we doing?

I wonder what are we doing in this transient period of life? I wonder what are we making? I wonder why are we working so hard? I wonder why are we saving? I wonder why are we greedy? I wonder why are we possessive? I wonder why are  we hating? I wonder will go further beyond the earth if I don't stop here. Now, it is the time, I give a time for realization why I wonder and what are the partial answer for I wondering.

Yes, I agree life is short but people will do what they like. Why should I bother if their work never bother me.

Are they making something for their own but for how long they are intending to make the thing?  Till the world exist? But we can't stay till the world exist. I know they work hard for survival. It make sense if it is so. But working for saving make no sense if they save for till world exist. Because we are not going to live till world exist.

We have got a limited time to stay in this beautiful world but do we have time for hating? When we believe all animals were once our parents and people are indirectly our parent because we are living within this samsaric world, why we hate each other. Instead a genuine love should be existed.

If you read above, why don't you recite Vajra Guru Mantra at least 100 times as it has immeasurable and vast benefit in this life and next life. We know everything is impermanence.  The high profile you earned shall be ended one day. The huge amount you gathered shall be left behind when you leave this world. You have only GURU PADMASABAWA who will save you because you have recited Vajra Guru Mantra. Om Ah Hung BaZar Guru Pad Ma Shi Dhi Hung.

How to remove Google Photos from your Phone Gallery

It is annoying that photos fro the google account is displaying on phone gallery. It makes the phone slow because of the huge number of photos from google account occupying the phone space. In order to delete the photos from phone gallery, follow the below steps.

Go to setting. Then to the Account. Then to "google" as show below.

Then Click on Google and unchecked "Sync Google Photos and Sync Picasa Web Albums" as show below.

Once you have completed with above, close and go to Application manager.
Go to ALL and find Gallery. You should Clear the data and clear cache. And finally Force to Stop the Gallery as show below.

Now go and check your photo gallery. Is there any photos from google. No, there won't be any photos.

Silent is best answer for everything.

                                       

The time demand the silent. Silent is smile and happiness. Many people will agree that silent is the best answer for anything. Sometime silent will not solve the problem.

Karma need little more patient. He gave up easily. He really need to build up the patient. Patient is good for relation with friends. I quote “Speak patiently and politely” I unquote. I remember my mother advised me with that statement in 2014. I still remembered her valuable words. Thank you ama la for your words. I always try to replica your deed where no one is hurt because of my deed.

I prefer to follow silent strategy but my mind say NO rather my mind asked to follow above quote.

Why I quit blogging ?

I write whatever comes to my mind. I don't care about the grammar of my articles. I need to express my thoughts on paper exactly as I think them.

Writing an article is one task that I enjoy because it helps me improve my writing and language skills. After writing, I need to upload the article on a blog website. However, this requires a strong internet connection; otherwise, uploading the article becomes impossible and time-consuming. The sole reason I maintain a blog is to use it as my diary. It will bring a huge smile to my face and also be a source of fun when I revisit it at the age of 60. My blog will take me back to my college days and all the stages of my life.

Although user-friendly social media platforms like Facebook make many things easier, I feel that blogging is still the best option for me. Therefore, I have decided to return to blogging.

Lisbon Note.

It was 1 year and 3 months, I left Spain in 2015. I haven’t prayed for returning back to Europe but triple gem was helpful to me. Today, I am back to Europe on 8^th September, 2016. This time, I am not in Spain but in beautiful place Lisbon, the capital city of Portugal. Lisbon will be my home for two years.

Departing is hurt but it is inevitable for us. I came here for studies, Master in Electronics Engineering. I left my loving families and friend back at home. I will be missing them a lot. I pray to triple gem for safe meeting after two years.

Lisbon is beautiful city and home for tourists. The people of Lisbon are nice. Beautiful places and nice people makes wonderful city to live in. Lisbon city has many football club. I will definitely visit football stadium when Sporting Club play Champion league against Real Madrid in November, 2016.

I haven’t been to all part of city. Within short days I have been to some of the places. I am sure I can visit all place within two years and of course some of the European countries.

Yudra Nyingpo, one of the 25 disciples of Guru Rinpoche

Yudra Nyingpo (Tib. གཡུ་སྒྲ་སྙིང་པོ་, Wyl. g.yu sgra snying po) — one of the twenty-five disciples of Guru Rinpoche. He was a great translator and scholar who received teachings from Vairotsana, Vimalamitra, and Guru Rinpoche. He translated many works, including the last thirteen of the eighteen texts of Semde.

Yudra Nyingpo became one of the greatest masters of Nyingma Dzogchen Semde and Longde teachings:

"Yudra Nyingpo was a prince of Gyalmo Tsawe Rong (Gyarong) in Eastern Tibet. In Gyarong, Yudra Nyingpo received teachings from Vairocana, who was exiled in the area for a certain period of time. Studying with Vairocana, Yudra Nyingpo became a great scholar and translator. Later he traveled to Central Tibet and received teachings from Guru Rinpoche and he became one of the greatest masters of semde and longde teachings of Dzogpa Chenpo in Tibet."

Yudra Nyingpo translated many works, including the 'Thirteen Later Translations' (Wylie: phyi 'gyur bcu gsum) of the 'Eighteen Major Scriptural Transmissions of the Mind Series' (Wylie: sems sde lung chen po bco brgyad):

1. Tsemo Chung-gyal (Supreme Peak) (Tibetan: རྩེ་མོ་བྱུང་རྒྱལ, Wylie: rtse mo byung rgyal)

Liljenberg (2009: p. 51) holds that there are variances in the listing of the Thirteen Later Translations:

"The earliest lists of titles of the Thirteen Later Translations are found in the writings of the twelfth century treasure revealer Nyang Ral Nyi ma 'od zer. He gives two lists, one in his Zangs gling ma biography of Padmasambhava, and the other in his religious history, the Me tog snying po. There are significant differences between the two lists, however, and subsequent lists drawn up by various authors also show marked variations, symptomatic of continuing fluidity in the composition of this group of texts."

The current reincarnation of Yudra Nyingpo is H.E Sonam Lodre AKA Buli Trulku, the tenth reincarnation. Because of his humbleness and simplicity in this reincarnation, many people are unaware of the great translator. H.E Buli Trulku reside in far flung corner of the country near Aranachal Pradesh boarder blessing the unprivileged people which otherwise would have no blessing from any lama because of its location. Many people called Trulku the lama of unprivileged people.
I feel proud to be one of H.E Buli Trulku follower.

The last final 8 round of UEFA Champion League (UCL) 2015-2016 ended yesterday (13/3/2016). The return leg was played yesterday. My all-time favorite team, which many called the best team of the Europe today, the FC Barcelona was knocked out from UCL by rival Atletico Madrid on aggregate of 3:2. FC Barcelona couldn’t retain the UCL Champion. FC Barcelona won the first leg at Camp Neo with 2:1. The hardworking and aggressive Atletico Madrid kick Barcelona out of UCL with 2 goals to nil yesterday on return leg in their home.

It was a night mare for fan of FC Barcelona. It was unexpected things. We have all world class players, Messi, Neymar, Suárez, Iniesta and list goes on. They couldn’t save Barcelona.

Referee controversy still continues. The many sport website talks about recent referee favoring to Barcelona which prehab was not true. This repeated news in sport website make a referee guilty of deciding what is true. There was a clear penalty at dying minutes of added time against Atletico Madrid but referee denied. If there shouldn’t be any controversy, referee should give what Barcelona deserved.

Everything has over and wining a trebles is just a dream. Still FC Barcelona has two trophy in hand. Copal Del Rey Final against Sevilla and Domestic League title at race with 3 points ahead of second standing team. Wining the both cups is more than adequate for Barcelona than having no trophy in the season 2014-2016.

No matter what the situation Barcelona might be encountered, like current circumstances, still I will be loving Barcelona. I will be fan of Barcelona till the last breath. I love Messi very much owing to his skills and personalities. And of course all the players of Barcelona, Neymar, Suárez, Iniesta, etc.

Milestone is near doorstep and did I achieve the desire target?

After 3 months I will have Bachelor in Electronic and Communication Engineering (BE ECE) Certificate. I am wondering whether I had intend knowledge and skill or more than intend of BE ECE graduate should acquire.

A dozen of questions with no definite answers are arising with one another. What will I do after graduating in the field? Technical or management work? Is BE ECE not desire course for me? What if I have joined to another general college?  No thoughts shall solve the problem at eleventh hour. The questions goes on. Did I make mistake in choosing the incorrect course? With no definite answer to the question, I came to realize I am doing big blunders. The blunders of intention. I should have set the target in 2011. What goes wrong within 5 years? Didn’t I prepare to get adequate knowledge and skill of ECE?

I am pretty sure I can have Certificate of BE ECE. And I am also sure I will have no concert skills of ECE. But I am optimistic. We are living in the era of technology. Resources are always available for willing person. If person has a wills to know, he will acquire his willingness. I have no worry of any skills. There are many people who I can ask the helps.

I am now eager to enter the world of independent and want to experience the first-hand experiences. 

Hard work goes in vain

We work tirelessly to achieve the target of the project. Our topic of the project is E-waste Management and designing of prototypes out of e-waste. It is research base project. The viewer may think we haven’t done any work, but in reality the research base project is the toughest project. It required all the critical thinking. We don’t mind for your baseless questions. We will never defend your question because we know you are going to connect my answers to another question. We won’t mind if it is at least a suggestion than debating question.

We are living in Bhutan and we know the trend of our society. We are living in the world of our own imagination. No one believe other but themselves. No body accept their mistake but defend their mistake. No body take feedback as feedback but as criticism. We ask the suggestion but suggestions are never taken into account.

I got to ask, am I living in Bhutan? Yes, I am. I have in my blood the trend of society. Do I need to change that trend? Yes, I got to change because no people like those trend.

Hard work goes in vain when no people just appreciate for the sake of giving courage of their work. We are living in the society where no people give your hard work a credit because they find your work is not at their par. How we can expect different people to have same quality of work. How can we conclude other work a dissatisfactory without analyzing? We have no manifest to analyze other yearlong task within a few minutes. If we have that power we may not be dreaming here. It would better if we give suggestion than criticism.

It is very disappointing to hear such a criticizing and disgusting words for one’s hard work output.
